Why I Built It
The Meta Story
I built IcoGenie after repeatedly losing momentum while shipping interfaces. Small UI work was getting blocked by icon hunting, style inconsistency, and messy handoffs.
The build flow was fast, but visual consistency became a hidden bottleneck every single week. I wanted something that could produce usable icons quickly with strict quality rules.
It started intentionally small: no accounts, simple pricing, fast output. Later, I expanded it toward CLI and MCP workflows because that is where modern builder teams actually operate.
